How to use these spanish vocabulary flashcards
Learning the article with every noun from day one saves a lot of unlearning later, so each noun here is written "el perro", not just "perro". The deck mixes greetings, family, home and food words with a few colors and describing words: enough for a first unit in middle school, a homeschool start, or a family learning together. Accents print correctly (adiós, árbol, pequeño), so the cards model the real spelling. Replace the list with your textbook's chapter in a minute: paste two columns from a spreadsheet and the tab is read as the separator.
- Keep the 25 words or paste your own as "Spanish - English" lines, or two columns copied from a spreadsheet.
- Turn on "Swap sides" in More options to practice the other direction, English to Spanish.
- Print double-sided with "flip on long edge", or fold-in-half on a single-sided printer.
- Cut on the dashed lines and keep each unit's deck together with a clip or ring.
Tips
- Say each word aloud before flipping: speaking it builds recall faster than reading silently.
- Color-code by gender while you learn: highlight "el" cards blue and "la" cards pink, or any two colors.
- Save the share link for each unit: it keeps the whole list, so next year's class prints the same deck.
